The necessary paradigm shift towards a new bio-intensive agriculture

Faced with a global population explosion, food needs are constantly increasing. Consequently, the need to increase the yields of agricultural production is undeniable. This pressure on producers has so far been solved by the massive use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, irrigation, mechanization and new seed selection techniques.

This agricultural approach is currently facing major controversies on its environmental impact and shows technical limits that have long been underestimated (impoverishment of ecosystems; use of numerous molecules with proven impacts on the environment and public health; erosion and decline in soil fertility).

This agricultural model has thus reached its ceiling. The time has come for a green revolution "GREENDEAL" with the objective of freeing ourselves from the use of synthetic phytosanitary products.

The aggregative system approach, the Medinbio innovation

The Medinbio method is based on an innovation and the fruit of a collaborative work to accelerate the agro ecological transition thanks to a method associating a system approach to innovative products, a third way in a way combining productivity and respect of the environment: the intensive organic agriculture.

By creating partnerships with universities, research centers but also industrialists and producers in search of a pesticide-free solution adapted to their ecological conscience, Medinbio has developed an innovative approach: the agroecological aggregative system approach.

This systemic approach is based on three foundations:

  • SOIL: Medinbio proposes to place the soil at the centre of its bio-intensive strategy to strengthen the plant from its roots and stimulate the rhizosphere.
  • NDS (Natural Defences Stimulators): Thanks to a good control of the biological mechanisms, the formulations elaborated by Medinbio identify the best moment to activate the defence system of the plants.
  • Natural agents: Medinbio develops natural agents that are effective according to specific targets (plant pests, pathogenic fungi, etc.). These natural molecules of great diversity are biodegradable and respect the ecosystems.
